Levercraft is an upscale coffee food truck, but when you walk under the low ceilings with bright light, you’re transformed back in time. The shops is inside a renovated 1955 Spartan Imperial Mansion travel trailer. You feel as if you’re in a classy, yet old-fashioned coffee oasis with tons of old-school espresso machines lining the wall and polaroid photos of customers on the side counter. The owner, Eric’s passion for coffee radiates the small and thoughtful space. Levercraft’s cold brew is my new favorite in Austin and is quickly turning into my Saturday morning tradition. They offer one-of-a-kind untraditional coffee concoctions like the popular Freddo, which is nitro cold brew topped with a generous portion of heavy whipping cream or the espresso lemonade.

(Hint: he does it less frequently than you’d expect!) Eric’s girlfriend, Kristina own Open House Austin, next doo to LEvercraft which is a female-owned business that helps first-time home buyers learn how to buy a house. They also serve as a community space, host some of the coffee events, do things like offer a space for free gift wrapping before the holidays. They’re always open to hosting new events for local groups, so be sure to check out their Instagram and shoot them a DM!
